Mr. Tyne is responsible for the development of Bessemer’s international and other strategic relations. In addition, he serves as Senior Resident Officer of the London office. Mr. Tyne also serves as a Director of Stanhope Capital Management, an investment firm which provides advisory and asset management services to private clients across Europe.

Prior to joining Bessemer in 1998, Mr. Tyne was Chairman of Alex. Brown & Sons Investment Limited, a subsidiary of Alex. Brown, and a Managing Director of Alex. Brown & Sons, Inc. Mr. Tyne was in charge of the $1.2 billion alternative asset management business for Alex. Brown, which included hedge funds, private equity, real estate and exchange funds.

Mr. Tyne received a B.A. in History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
