Mr. Hancock joined Bessemer in 2004. He is the Senior Resident Officer in our Dallas office. Prior to joining Bessemer, he ran his own business, Maple Hill Capital Management. He also spent several years at UBS Timber Investors where he led client service and marketing and was a separate account timber fund manager. His professional career began at Goldman Sachs where he supervised $1.1 billion in diversified portfolios for high net worth individuals.

Mr. Hancock received his M.B.A. and B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin. He has served on several community boards including the St. Philips School as treasurer, St. Michael School as a board member and the Children's Foundation of the Episcopal Diocese of Dallas as president and treasurer.
