Mr. Jacobs joined Bessemer Trust in June 2005 as a Principal in Bessemer's Chicago office. Previously, Mr. Jacobs was with the Chicago office of Sanford Bernstein, where he was Vice President. He was responsible for Business Development for Private Clients and not-for-profit organizations. Prior to this, he was Director at Bank of America in Chicago, where he managed client services for institutional clients. His experience also includes working with SEI Investments in Chicago, where he was responsible for Business Development for Institutional Entities.

Mr. Jacobs received his M.B.A. in Marketing from Loyola University in Chicago. He received his B.A. in Political Science from DePauw University in Greencastle, IN.
