Mr. Wilcox is responsible for Bessemer’s operations in the Western United States. He is a member of the Firm’s Management Committee and Trust Investment Committee. Previously, he ran Bessemer’s offices in Washington, D.C. and Miami, Florida. Mr. Wilcox joined Bessemer in 1998.

In the course of his career, Mr. Wilcox founded and served as CEO of US Venture Exchange, Inc. (acquired by NYPPE Holdings), managed investments and structured derivatives transactions for wealthy families and institutions at Legg Mason, and practiced corporate law with K & L Gates and with Jones Day.

Mr. Wilcox holds an M.B.A. from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and a J.D. from New England School of Law where he was Managing Editor of the New England Law Review. He earned his B.A. in Economics from Boston University.

Mr. Wilcox serves on the Advisory Board at Biomedical Enterprises Inc. and is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association.
